I went from a classroom school teacher to an Online Course Creator with thousands of students!
Using my own experience as a language learner, I create and develop lessons that are relevant for learners and easy and clear to follow.
Working and teaching online has allowed me to connect with people from around the world, I have students from all the continents and with different backgrounds. I enjoy sharing my culture and learning about other cultures too!
At the beginning, when I was a Language Learner, I didn’t make much progress…
All the vocabulary and grammar sounded distant, outdated and boring! I really struggled to put everything together and ended up memorizing in order to pass the course! I was also scared I would make mistakes, feel embarrased and make zero progress.
But then it was my turn to teach…
When I started teaching, in 2009, I discovered the things that worked and the ones that didn’t. I began to ask questions like:
- What are my students interests?
- What are their struggles and obstacles?
- How do they enjoy learning?
That’s why I’ve been making my own materials and perfectioning my lessons, the results are outstanding!
